Step 1
From your Roomboss Account Manager request the following:
1. API Username and Password.
2. Room list.
The room lists must be in .csv format contain the following columns in this order:
Vendor Name, Vendor ID, Product Name, Product ID, Resource Name, Resource ID
Step 2
In your
Operto Teams account, navigate to
Setup --> System Settings, scroll down to the
API Connections section and click the
Add API Connection button.
Step 3
Click the ROOMBOSS logo.
Step 4
Enter your ROOMBOSS API Username and Password from Step 1.
Step 5
Navigate to Setup --> Properties, from the Actions button click Import ROOMBOSS Properties
Upload the CSV file from Step 1 to add your rooms to Operto Teams as Properties.
OR
Add or Edit Properties, Check the box next to "Import from ROOMBOSS", then enter:
ROOMBOSS Property Key = Resource ID
ROOMBOSS Property ID = Product ID
Step 6
Send your Roomboss account manager your Operto Teams webhook URL and request all bookings to be sent to the webhook.

Please send all future bookings assigned to a resource to this URL at this time
Allow up to 12 hours for bookings to start importing
If you are currently using Operto Teams and switching to ROOMBOSS from another property management system, follow the below steps
Step 7
Property Matching
Merge the ROOMBOSS feeds into previously setup properties.
Navigate to Setup --> Properties.
Filter by Region: Region not Assigned.
For each property, use the Merge Feed To dropdown and select the previously set up property
Step 8
Master Calendar Review
With both feeds active, the new bookings should exactly match the old. The Master Calendar will allow you to easily review for import errors.
Step 9
New Task updating
The new bookings created new tasks. Use the Scheduling Calendar to schedule the new tasks and upate any notes - to match the old tasks schedules and notes.
Step 10
If your old property management software used an API connection, deactivate the old connection in
Setup -> System Settings and then you will need to
make unnecessary Bookings InActive. The easiest way to do this is on the
Bookings page.
IMPORTANT
Check your Master Calendar for accurate properties and bookings.
Troubleshooting Tips:
1. Search ROOMBOSS in our knowledgebase to see any specific statuses or requirements for import.
2. Use Setup --> Properties, Actions button, Request Pull from ROOMBOSS to retry the import.
